Alexiah's New Bath Seat!

I found the bath seat that I have been looking for on Craigslist today...
Only $5 and it was in Escondido!

All the girls were so excited to have their first bath together.
I am pleased because now I don't have to clean up the soaking wet floor
from Alexiah splashing all the water out of her baby bath tub!

I am so proud of Rebekah and Marisah for being the best big sisters ever,
they are seriously such a big help to have around
and I love to see how much all my girls love each other.
I am secretly jealous, I have always longed for a sister relationship
and my girls have the most sweet and caring relationships,
Thank You Jesus!

Alexiah Talking to the Camera

Here is a video from a few nights ago of Alexiah talking to the Camera. She was more distracted by the orange light on the front of the camera. She is 5 months old, I can't believe how fast my baby is growing up!

That's right! We had to be ordinary this time and have a Singleton! (A term I didn't even know about until our twins) We went to the doctor on November 10th for our first appointment and sonogram; I was so glad Mike and the girls could all be there. The baby looks great and is healthy and the my due date will be June 18th (The last day of school is June 16th!) So we will see how far we get.
The highlight of the appointment was seeing the astonishment in the girl's eyes when they got to hear the Baby's heartbeat, they totally get it, I can't wait to experience this pregnancy through their eyes! Also, when the appointment was over the Doctor said "Bye" to the girls and Rebekah started crying and told the Doctor that she wanted him to take the baby out now! What a good lesson of patience this will be for the girls, especially for this mama girl! I can't wait to hold you Baby!

Halloween 2009

After two long late nights finishing the last details of the girls Strawberry Shortcake costumes it was great to show them off! On Friday night, we went to our church's Harvest Party with our neighbors and the kids all had a blast. It was really busy, but the kids didn't seem to mind. I was impressed by how creative all the games were, they all had biblical themes with scripture. The girls'(and daddy's) favorite part was the free cotton candy!

On Saturday we headed up to Ramona to eat Breakfast at the Ramona Cafe, it has been five years since we have eaten there and it was just as good as we remembered! Afterwards we stopped by the pumpkin patch to allow some time for our food to digest before we headed back down the hill. The girls had a blast feeding the goats and running through the pumpkin fields. We then headed home for a relaxing afternoon nap had by all!

Later that night, Mike's parents brought over dinner. After dinner, we put the girls costumes on and headed out around the neighborhood for some Trick-or-Treating. The girls were definitely more focused this year and were a lot more structured about the whole process...

Step 1: Ring Door Bell.
Step 2: Wait 10 seconds.
Step 3: If no answer, starting knocking (pounding) on the door.
Step 4: When the door opens, say "Trick-or-Treat"!
Step 5: Take as much candy as the old people will let you because you are so cute. Step 6: Once they cut you off, turn around and say "Happy Halloween" as you are already half way to the street and scouting out the next house with a porch light on!

No time for messing around for these girls!

Hope you all had a safe and Happy Halloween!
